Terms and Conditions of ETU Academy

Welcome to ETU Academy. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of services offered by ETU Academy, an offline educational institute based in Kolkata, India. By enrolling in our courses, accessing our premises, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

 

1. Definitions

  • “Institute,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to ETU Academy.

  • “You,” “student,” or “participant” refers to any individual who enrolls in or attends any program offered by the Institute.

  • “Services” refer to our offline educational and training programs in software development, coding, and related fields.

 

2. Eligibility

To enroll in any program, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age or have written consent from a parent or guardian.

  • Provide accurate personal and academic information during registration.

  • Abide by all applicable laws and institute rules.

 

3. Enrolment and Fee Policy

  • Admission is subject to availability and eligibility criteria.

  • Course fees are to be paid in full or via installment plans as communicated.

  • All fees paid are non-refundable, unless stated otherwise under a written agreement or specific promotional policy.

  • Late payments may attract penalties or may result in suspension from classes.

 

4. Code of Conduct

Students are expected to:

  • Attend classes regularly and be punctual.

  • Show respect towards faculty, staff, and fellow students.

  • Refrain from engaging in disruptive or inappropriate behavior.

  • Not misuse institute property or IT infrastructure.

ETU Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate the enrollment of any student who violates this Code of Conduct.

 

5. Intellectual Property

  • All course materials, including but not limited to text, code, presentations, assignments, and projects, are the intellectual property of ETU Academy or its content partners.

  • Students are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the materials for personal educational purposes only.

  • Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any course material without written permission is strictly prohibited.

 

6. Certificates and Evaluation

  • Certificates of completion will be issued based on attendance, assignment submissions, and performance criteria.

  • The Institute holds the right to deny certification if the student fails to meet the course requirements.

 

7. Privacy and Data Usage

  • Personal information collected during enrolment will be used solely for academic and administrative purposes.

  • We may use student images or testimonials for promotional use, subject to prior consent.

  • Data will be handled in accordance with applicable Indian data protection laws.

 

8. Liability Disclaimer

  • The Institute is not responsible for any personal belongings lost, damaged, or stolen on the premises.

  • While every effort is made to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we make no guarantees regarding employment outcomes post-training.

  • ETU Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

 

9. Changes to Programs or Terms

  • We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any course or faculty assignment.

  • These Terms may be updated periodically. Any changes will be communicated via email or notices within the institute premises.

 

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
